A client who we’ll call Marie had been in business for a few years when she decided to completely pivot and rebrand. She knew she was ready for a change and was determined to realign her offers with her vision.
Through business strategy sessions, Marie realized her current offers didn’t align with what she wanted to achieve long term.
At the time, her offers were making her known as an Instagram and Clubhouse coach for business owners. It’s great to be known for something in this online space. However, Marie didn’t want to be known as the “Clubhouse & IG Expert.” She knew she had more to offer. She knew she could make a greater impact while doing something she truly felt aligned with. Moving forward as a social media expert wasn’t going to work.
Instead, she wanted to be known for being an inspirational speaker, personal branding expert, and author. At the time of this realization, Marie had more than 10,000 followers on Instagram. They all knew her as an “IG & Clubhouse Expert.” Plus, she was in the middle of launching one of her iconic programs.
Instead of launching these services she wasn’t aligned with, she canceled the launch entirely. In fact, Marie dropped all of her offers at once.
Together, we went to work creating an offer suite aligned to her long-term vision and goals. We had to conduct new market research, pivot her messaging, her branding, revamp her new website, create a new ICA, reevaluate her marketing channels, and so much more.
Since Marie already had a strong following on social media, we also had to establish a marketing plan to shift the brand perception of her current followers. She had to rebrand herself from a social media expert to an inspirational speaker and personal branding expert.
After thorough market research, we rebranded her website and messaging so they reflect her new mission and offers. We also worked together to establish the foundations of her new scalable offer suite. These new offers aligned directly with her long-term goal and vision. Marie has since successfully launched two of these new offers and is more excited about business than ever before.
Building a scalable offer suite takes time and patience. While Marie has successfully launched two offers, these are just two pieces of her scalable offer suite. She will be building and launching more offers for months/years to come!
While her thousands of followers recognize the pivot Marie has made, it will take time for this shift to fully stick with her audience. Shifting the perception an audience has of your brand takes time and consistent and strategic marketing efforts.
